The speakers will discuss the growing importance of Turkish foreign policy across the Arab world. The Arab revolutions, embraced by Prime Minister Erdogan's government, have given a new focus to Turkey's activist diplomacy, whilst strong economic growth over the past decade has brought the country new markets and partners across the Middle East and North Africa.
The speakers will consider how Turkey, as a key regional power, must now manage the sometimes conflicting demands and expectations in its broad neighbourhood. They will also look at opportunities and constraints on deepening engagement in the region.
