The Centre for Turkey Studies and Development (CTSD) is celebrating its First CTSD Anniversary Dinner and is delighted to host the UK Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg who will honour us with his presence on 30 April 2012 in the prestigious Ballroom of the Park Lane Sheraton Hotel in London. The CTSD would like to invite you to join us at this exclusive invitation-only evening where you have the opportunity to meet with senior representatives from business, government, the Parliament, and leading experts and media representatives from Turkey and the UK. As the first Turkey-focused policy forum in London, the CTSD will celebrate its achievements over the past year and present its plans for future activities.
This first anniversary dinner will also represent the first occasion in the UK where approximately 400 guests and leading individuals from the world of business, politics, media, academia and arts and culture from Turkey and the UK gather to highlight the work and contributions of one the most vibrant British communities – its communities originating from Turkey. For this purpose, the CTSD will launch its First CTSD Community Award to express gratitude to outstanding British individuals and institutions originating from Turkey for their achievements and contributions to their communities they live in and the UK as a whole. The CTSD Award will particularly celebrate outstanding leadership qualities and contributions of individuals and institutions that were nominated and selected from across 16 categories (including Business Person and Business Enterprise of the Year).
The Centre for Turkey Studies and Development (CTSD) is an independent and non-partisan organisation inaugurated in April 2011 with the support of the UK Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg in London. The CTSD provides an open forum promoting expert opinions and debates focusing on Turkey and UK relations, foreign affairs, economic issues and social developments in Turkey and the region. The CTSD organises regular speaker series, panel discussions, round tables and dinner events in the British Parliament, think tanks, academic institutions and the City of London. Our speakers include leading politicians, experts and opinion formers from Britain, Turkey and beyond. In addition, the CTSD conducts case studies at the requests of think tanks, public institutions and the private sector interested in questions related to the economic, political and social development of Turkey and the region.
We would be delighted to welcome you at the First CTSD Anniversary Dinner and look forward to hearing from you.
Ps; Tickets will cost £100 per person for a 3 course meal + hot drinks plus unlimited drinks.
